Location : Flexible (Europe or the Americas)

Salary Range : €50,000 – €70,000 gross (Depends heavily on experience and location)

The Role :

As Global Lead Buyer , you will be part of a high-performing global software procurement team, responsible for driving end-to-end, strategic purchasing initiatives across the software category.

You’ll be a trusted advisor to the business, shaping software spend strategy, negotiating with top-tier vendors, and managing complex licensing models and global frameworks.

What You\'ll Need to Succeed

• 5-8 years of experience in strategic software procurement within a large, global organization .
• Deep understanding of software licensing, vendor management, and contractual negotiations on a multinational scale .
• Outstanding English communication skills - both verbal and written - with the ability to confidently engage and influence senior stakeholders (CFOs, Global Heads, Directors) .
• A global mindset and the ability to operate across cultures, time zones, and business functions.
• Strong commercial acumen with a consultative, problem-solving approach.
• Previous experience working with IT procurement (software-focused), ideally with exposure to telco as a bonus.
• Be part of a globally distributed, high-calibre team reporting directly into executive-level leadership.
