As a Sr Finance & Accounting Representative, you are responsible to manage the end-to-end Finance & Accounting operations. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial transactions and reports. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in accounting principles, financial reporting, and process improvement, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle accounting process including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and month-end / year-end closing activities
- Prepare and review financial statements , reports, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards (e.g., GAAP or IFRS)
- Oversee cash flow management , bank reconciliations, and intercompany transactions
- Support and maintain fixed asset accounting including capitalization, depreciation, and disposals
- Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure accurate financial data and documentation
- Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls , accounting procedures, and financial policies
- Assist in budget preparation , forecasting, and variance analysis
- Lead and support audits (internal and external), ensuring timely responses and accurate data submissions
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes for efficiency and effectiveness, including automation and system enhancements
- Maintain compliance with corporate financial policies and procedures (excluding tax-related compliance)
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA is a plus)Minimum of 5 years of experience in Finance & Accounting, preferably in a corporate or shared services environmentStrong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controlsProficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, preferably SAPAdvanced MS Excel skills; ability to work with large datasets and perform complex reconciliationsExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skillsStrong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracyEffective communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environmentAbout Kawan Lama Group
