Responsibilities
- Manage an engineering organization that provides first-class safety-oriented but cost-efficient formwork, scaffolding and shoring solutions to clients
- Develop and implement a local engineering strategy based on subsidiary requirements and the global engineering strategy
- Ensure the development and training of local engineers
- Develop local Engineering strategy
Develop the Engineering organization aligned to the business needs and overall subsidiary strategy
Support Product Management with technical expertise regarding temporary works topicsEngineering performance and processesTrack engineering KPIs and pro-actively work towards improvement by initiating and driving improvement projects
Ensure engineering quality assurance and safety standards in subsidiaries, aligned with PERI policies and standardsProject managementCooperate with subsidiary management team for project prioritization on local level (based on technical complexity, size, strategic value, risk analysis etc.) and plan engineering resources accordingly
Implement and improve project management standardsPro-actively manage key projects (in cooperation with other departments)Coordination & communicationCoordination of interfaces with other departments
Align engineering organization and strategy to market requirementsWhat you\'ll need to be successful :
Degree in Civil, Industrial or Mechanical EngineeringMinimum of 10 years work experience in construction with detailed experience in formwork industry and several years of experience in a leadership roleExpert knowledge of engineering standards and solid business acumen (incl. cost control)Strong technical understanding and experience in construction projectsExcellent leadership and organizational competenciesBricsCAD or AutoCAD (or similar) operating skills / experience is essentialFluent English both oral and written, Bahasa Indonesia (preferably)Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain a good working relationship at all levelsVery good organizational skillsIntercultural awareness and competence : ability to effectively interact, communicate and collaborate with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds#J-18808-Ljbffr
