- Build effective supplier and stakeholder relationships to deliver cost savings and service improvements that support PZC’s business agenda.
- Define and deliver the procurement strategy for the Indirect spend categories, meeting relevant business objectives as appropriate.
- Create productivity and savings pipeline, aligned with FDs and budget holders to drive P&L savings, spend mitigation (inflation), increased DPO (days payable outstanding), with a 1 – 3 year forecast.
- Educate and inform stakeholders of the Indirect Procurement policy and uphold compliance with organisational rules for the procurement of goods and services above the policy threshold.
- Conduct category spend analysis to identify and prioritise improvement opportunities.
- Provide category knowledge and sourcing expertise to manage commercial negotiations with third parties and liaise with key business users across the business to ensure favourable commercial terms which mitigate business risk.
- Stakeholder management : develop relationships with internal stakeholders. Represent procurement in business review and strategy meetings.
- Work closely with senior business stakeholders to ensure that sourcing strategies and value-added activities are harmonised to business needs.
- Analysis and identify potential new areas of supply for new contracts and framework agreements.
- Own operational procurement activity for Indirects such as the preferred supplier list, supplier master data (eg new supplier set-up requests), payment terms analysis and contract database, supplier rationalisation.
- Manage and drive PZC sustainability ambitions pertaining to the sourcing and management of suppliers to PZC
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in indirect procurement with a proven track record of delivering commercial value.Strong understanding of procurement strategy, spend analysis, supplier performance, and contract management.Experience working in a dynamic, matrix, or multinational environment.Excellent stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skillsHigh level of integrity and compliance awareness
