INTRODUCTION
Metso is a global supplier of equipment, technology and services to customers in the mining and construction industry. The Metals & Chemicals Processing BL provides processing solutions and equipment for metals refining. We are currently strengthening our commissioning team to support start-up and initial operational phases of our Effluent Treatment Plant project in Indonesia.
We are seeking Commissioning Process Specialist to be placed in Surabaya for our 12 months project. This role offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact in a key customer project, contribute to technology development, and work in a truly international environment.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Execute process commissioning advisory services.
- Follow design principles & guidelines.
- Initiate request for design guideline update based on operational findings.
- Support commissioning team supervise and execute commissioning of slag concentration area.
- Prepared to be on site for longer commissioning periods.
- Maintain constructive contacts to customers.
- Execute plant inspections pre and post start-up.
- Provide technical input for process department.
- Represent company on meetings with the customer.
- Protect generated IP together with patent specialists, confidentiality is a must.
WHO YOU ARE
To excel in this position, the successful candidate will possess the following qualifications :
A communicative, driven, and goal-oriented individual with a strong desire to contribute to our continued success.A degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or Metals Refining.Proven experience in commissioning or process engineering in heavy industry or metals production.Fluency in English, both written and spoken.Willingness and ability to travel internationally for extended periods.WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?
