AYANA Hospitality is excited to offer the position of Japanese Guest Experience Officer (Native / Speaker) at our stunning AYANA Komodo resort. This role is critical in cultivating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests, ensuring they receive premium service throughout their stay. You will use your language skills and hospitality expertise to create memorable experiences.
Responsibilities
- Review arrival lists to welcome guests
- Attend to special guests (e.g. VIPs) and answer their inquiries
- Help prepare welcome folders with collateral (e.g. room service menus, area descriptions)
- Provide information about amenities, area and venues and promote services
- Anticipate guest needs and build rapport with customers
- Offer assistance with certain tasks (e.g. confirming travel arrangements, taking messages)
- Address customer complaints and escalate to Guest Experience Manager when needed
- Ensure compliance with health and quality standards
Requirements
Fluent in Japanese (with a minimum N2 certification for Japanese speakers), and strong command of the English languageDiploma in Rooms Division, Hotel Management, or a related discipline is required.
