Our clients include Cargo Owners, Traders, Miners, Oil Majors, Ship Owners, Ship Operators, and Ship Managers, handling a wide array of goods and vessel types such as containers, dry bulk, breakbulk, project cargo, crude oil, refined products, natural gas, and passengers.

The Business Development Executive is responsible to drive growth by acquiring new clients and delivering innovative supply chain solutions for Noatum Logistics.

  • Work closely with the Branch Manager to develop the supply chain solutions globally for clients.
  • Identify market opportunities, target new customers, and maintain relationships with existing customers.
  • Conduct proactive sales calls, visits, and presentations to new and existing customers.
  • Achieve agreed sales goals and business targets.
  • Provide timely reports for business opportunities and development.
  • Conduct visits and presentations to existing customers on a regular basis.
  • Build and develop customers through relationship management and to satisfy their expectations by utilizing company's products.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Management, Logistics, Business, or related field.
  • Strong background in freight forwarding and logistics, with a proven track record in business development and sales.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in freight forwarding industry, specifically in business development and sales.
  • In-depth understanding of freight forwarding, logistics, and supply chain processes, including sea, air, and land transportation.
  • Strong knowledge of global and local market trends in the freight forwarding industry.
  • Familiar with INCOTERMs, export / import terms, documentation, and customs regulations.
  • Proficient in using CRM systems and logistics software.
  • Experienced in commercial contract and proposal negotiations.
  • Excellent skills in verbal and written communication in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
  • Willing to travel regularly, both domestically and internationally, to meet customers and business partners.
