Job description

Job Description

  • Compliance with guidelines, instructions (nautical handbook) and regulations.
  • Co‑responsible for impeccable cleanliness, hygiene, on board.
  • Active participation in planning and execution of safety drills.
  • Take responsibility for emergency duties such as BDO (breathing Device Operator) and all other safety‑related duties according to internal rules and regulations.
  • Monitor and update certificates, technical certificates, credentials, and approvals.
  • Responsible for the administrative process and timely submission of all mandatory technical reports (internal and external), in cooperation with the engineer and Captain.
  • Prepare, support, and maintain technical services.
  • Keep the technical maintenance program up to date daily on the Mastex & Fresh services ticket system.

Job Qualification

  • Skilled workers and health certificate for BDO (firefighting training upon arrival in Europe).
  • Interest in further education (e.g. certificate extension, language skills).
  • Independent and flexible.
  • Decisive and assertive.
  • Resilience.
  • Strong capacity for teamwork.
