Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control production processes to ensure stability, efficiency, and product quality according to specifications.
  • Investigate process, equipment, and product quality issues.
  • Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent and safe operations.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize environmental impact.
  • Collect, analyze, and report production performance data to management.
  • Coordinate with production, technical, and management teams in planning, execution, and evaluation of processes.
  • Ensure compliance with occupational safety standards, prepare safety documentation, and conduct risk audits.
  • Assist in selecting and testing raw materials to optimize cost and quality.
  • Read, understand, and interpret Process Flow Diagrams (PFD) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) for process design, modification, or improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or related field).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Process Engineer in manufacturing or chemical industries.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting PFDs and P&IDs.
  • Strong understanding of production processes and quality control systems.
  • Skilled in problem analysis and process improvement methods.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety and environmental principles.
