Position Summary :
The Hotel Graphic Designer and Content Creator works within the Marketing and PR team and serves as the in-house design resource for all printed collateral and digital assets representing Capella Ubud, Bali, under the Capella Hotel Group brand and its associated business units.
The purpose of this role is to produce timely and high-quality design work that authentically brings to life the vision, brand, and culture of Capella Ubud, Bali. The position requires strong design, communication, and organizational skills, along with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines. A self-motivated, proactive attitude and a collaborative spirit are essential to succeed in this fast-paced, feedback-driven environment.
Essential Duties :
Design, coordinate production, and manage the distribution of marketing materials related to Rooms, Food & Beverage outlets (Mads Lange, Api Jiwa, Mortar & Pestle, Campfire, In-Tent Dining), events (weddings and special occasions), Auriga Wellness, the Adventure Centre, Human Resources, and other departments.
Maintain consistent brand standards across all business units and departments.
Create and manage an annual rolling production calendar, ensuring all stakeholders are informed of timelines, needs, and deadlines.
Develop and execute design concepts and assets for seasonal brand campaigns, including web design, digital and social advertisements, and print ads for magazines and newspapers.
Design and produce assets for holiday and event campaigns, including brochures, flyers, social media content, website visuals, printed banners, and on-property signage.
Manage the production of printed materials such as signage, collateral, event items, and branded materials (e.g., paper goods, packaging, props, and display items) within the allocated budget. Responsibilities include vendor sourcing, cost estimation, print specification, proof review, and final product delivery.
Coordinate local media ad placements for magazines and newspapers.
Stay updated on design trends and propose fresh, creative ideas aligned with the Capella brand identity.
Support the Marketing team in creating and distributing promotional materials throughout the hotel, including concierge areas and F&B outlets.
Review guest-facing and internal materials to ensure consistency, visual cohesion, and adherence to brand guidelines.
Provide design and printing support to all departments as required.
Assist in photoshoots, including photo list preparation, prop coordination, and styling.
Support social media content creation through photo, video, and graphic production.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education :
Minimum of two years of professional design experience (experience with luxury clients or brands preferred).
Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Strong proofing and copywriting skills.
Excellent project management abilities.
Experience in branding, marketing, advertising, and / or public relations is an advantage.
Prior experience in hospitality-particularly hotel or food & beverage-is an asset.
Flexibility to assist with events or photoshoots during evenings and weekends is a plus.
Languages
Must be fluent in English (spoken and written).
Working Conditions
This position is based in an office environment.
Must be able to sit for up to 8 hours per day.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Strong command of English with the ability to communicate clearly and pleasantly with guests and colleagues, both in person and over the phone.
Ability to produce clear and legible written communication.
