Job description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and customer insights.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to gather input for demand planning processes.
  • Analyze demand patterns, seasonality, and promotional activities to enhance forecast accuracy.
  • Monitor inventory levels and work with production and procurement teams to ensure adequate stock while minimizing excess inventory.
  • Identify and promptly address demand planning issues, such as stock shortages or surpluses.
  • Provide regular reports and analysis on demand forecast accuracy, inventory levels, and supply chain performance.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings and initiatives to improve demand planning processes and drive continuous improvement.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to inform demand planning strategies.
  • Willing to be placed at Cikupa, Tangerang

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor\'s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is required.
  • Strong analytical skills are necessary, as well as the ability to interpret data, trends, and patterns.
  • A detail-oriented mindset is crucial, as well as a commitment to accuracy and precision in work.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Adaptability and a willingness to learn new concepts and tools in demand planning are essential.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools is a plus.
  • A passion for supply chain management and a desire to contribute to optimizing supply chain processes is important.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment is necessary.
