Corporate Finance Manager in Coal Mining Operations
The role of a Corporate Finance Manager in mining operations involves overseeing financial activities to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with financial standards.
Key responsibilities include :
- Managing, monitoring, and reviewing finance and accounting activities to enhance operational excellence within the mining industry.
- Ensuring compliance with Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards and maintaining effective financial operations, including banking systems, investment plans, cash flow, restructuring, financial modeling, bank loans, and loans from other financial institutions.
- Developing and refining financial models for mining projects and investments, conducting cash flow analysis, and risk assessments.
- Engaging with mining operations to evaluate workflows, address inefficiencies, and align financial objectives with operational enhancements, gap analysis, and corrective action.
- Participating in due diligence efforts for operational processes, supply chains, repair and maintenance of mining equipment, and mining production systems to drive improvements.
- Identifying growth opportunities in mining, such as trading or asset development, supporting feasibility studies, cost-benefit analysis, and investment proposals.
- Fostering relationships with key industry players to enable growth and support risk management for financial and operational exposures.
- Representing the company in mining industry discussions, site visits, or international engagements to strengthen investor ties.
Requirements include effective reporting and good communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia, as well as the ability to work under pressure and multitask.
Qualifications & Experience
A Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, with a minimum of 10 years of working experience in the mining industry, is required.
