Job description

Contract Engineer (FPSO / FPU, EPCI (Offshore), FEED competition)

Education :

  • Minimum Bachelors degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Masters degree in Project Management or an MBA is an advantage.

Certifications :

  • Professional certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) are a plus.

    • Experience :

  • 15+ years of experience in project services management within the oil & gas industry , particularly in upstream and deep-water projects.
  • Strong background in managing large, complex projects with multi-million-dollar budgets and international teams .
  • Expertise in offshore oil & gas operations, especially deep-water projects and Onshore Receiving Facilities (ORF) .
  • Previous experience working with global teams and managing projects across different geographical regions is a plus .
  • Knowledge of project financials , including cost estimation, budgeting, and cost control.
  • Ability to analyze data and present complex financials to non-financial stakeholders.

    • Responsibilities :

  • Project Management : Overseeing engineering tasks, ensuring projects are completed within scope, time, and budget.
  • Contract Negotiation : Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating various engineering contracts, including service agreements and procurement contracts.
  • Risk Assessment : Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and advising management on legal and financial implications.
  • Coordination : Managing and coordinating construction projects from design to completion, ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Compliance : Ensuring compliance with regulations and standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Note : This role is crucial in ensuring that engineering projects are executed efficiently and effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of contract management .
  • Strong leadership & team management skills , with the ability to motivate teams and drive performance .
  • Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills (verbal & written).
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities in complex project environments.
  • Strong commitment to a high standard of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols in offshore projects.
