About the Client

Our client is a leading bulk commodities trading company specializing in the trade of coal, nickel, and manganese ore across global markets. With a strong presence in international trade, they are seeking an experienced Trade Finance professional to oversee and manage all financial transactions related to trade, including Letter of Credit (L / C) documentation, banking relationships, and risk management.

Job Description

Manage the full trade finance process, including handling Letters of Credit (L / Cs), SKBDN, bank guarantees, and documentary collections.
Liaise with banks, financial institutions, and internal teams to ensure seamless execution of financial transactions.
Work closely with traders, operations, and finance teams to facilitate international trade transactions.
Ensure compliance with global trade finance regulations and banking requirements.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with banks and financial partners to support business operations.
Assess financial risk for trade deals and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.

Job Requirements

10+ years of experience in trade finance, preferably in a commodities trading environment.

Strong knowledge of Letters of Credit (L / Cs), SKBDN, and other trade finance regulations.

Proven experience dealing with banks, financial institutions, and trade finance instruments.

Solid understanding of commodity trading operations, payment terms, and financial risk management.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise with bankers and internal stakeholders.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate complex financial transactions.
