Bachelor's degree in Accounting from a reputable university (minimum GPA 3.25); CA / CPA or comparable certification is preferred.

Public accounting firm background with strong experience in public listed companies, consolidated groups with multiple subsidiaries, and the property and real estate industry is desirable.

Advanced knowledge of finance reporting processes, controls, accounting standards, and reporting requirements such as PSAK and IFRS.

Hands-on experience in accounting and reporting, including financial reporting and analysis to provide business insights to management and the commercial team.

Regular review of accounting policies and procedures with identification of areas for improvement.

Proficiency in accounting systems and MS Office, especially MS Excel.

Ability to liaise with auditors for audit report preparation.

Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

Proactive, solution-oriented, with a good attitude, hardworking, responsible, well-organized, detail-oriented, and a team player.

Able to start immediately or within short notice.

Job Responsibilities :

• Manage daily accounting activities and financial transactions, ensuring timely and accurate reports.
• Oversee general accounting functions.
• Ensure spending aligns with budgets and SOPs.
• Consolidate and develop subsidiary financial statements for timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closes.
• Develop and manage the company's financial reporting.
• Prepare budgets and forecasts, and monitor budget vs. actual performance.
• Ensure compliance with statutory accounting standards, audits, and tax regulations.
• Assist in accounting system transformation projects.
• Lead and manage the accounting and management reporting team.
• Develop, implement, and review SOPs and policies to minimize financial risks.
• Identify and implement financial systems and software enhancements.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve budget efficiency.
• Perform other ad-hoc tasks as required.
