What you bring

  • Experience in a Tax department (Big 4 environment, tax and reporting), including preparing and filing tax returns
  • SAP experience (not mandatory)
  • Bachelor’s or master’s in Tax, Accounting, Finance, Management or similar; professional designation (ACA, ACCA, CTA, CPA or similar) valued
  • Team player with excellence, strong organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment
  • English fluency (spoken and written)
  • Remote work experience not required but a plus

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit VAT, Sales and Use Tax reports in the US and Canada
  • Prepare and submit reports related to Remote’s Sales and Use Tax obligations
  • Ensure ERP data accuracy; coordinate with accounts payable / receivable to review transactions and correct as needed
  • Ensure invoices comply with local tax laws and apply correct tax treatment
  • Support interactions with public entities (tax and statistical authorities)
  • Maintain and reconcile tax accounts
  • Prepare and file VAT and Sales / Use Tax claims
  • Support global tax registrations and ad hoc tax projects (e.g., country expansions)
  • Monitor changes in tax law across jurisdictions
  • Assist tax advisors with US direct tax filings to ensure compliance

Salary ranges are based on role, level, and location; actual pay depends on location, skills, experience, and market conditions. The base salary range may change.

    Annual salary range for this full-time role : $62,950 - $78,700 USD.
