Context : In the Electrical Engineering & Automation domain, you will contribute to solar power plants and BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) projects within a team of specialists dedicated to grid connection and power control solutions. You will interact with the head of the Power Control & Grid Rules cell and collaborate with a team of five on project grid connection topics and innovative power control development within protection, supervision and control services.
Responsibilities
- Understand and specify technical prerequisites for project connection from local grid codes and regulations.
- Develop network simulation models incorporating site controllers.
- Perform network connection studies to ensure compliance with connection requirements for large international projects using tools such as Power Factory, PSSE, PSCAD or EMTP-RV :
- Static and dynamic simulations,
- Harmonics studies to validate filtering solutions,
- Network fault studies for specific projects integrating the proximity network mesh,
- Validation simulations of site performance from operational data.
- Co-develop models and new power control algorithms for projects in partnership with the Power Control team (Power Plant Controller PPC).
- Maintain the existing model library and monitor project references.
- Provide technical support to clients during the grid connection process.
- Co-lead external study contractors.
- Participate in expert studies for existing projects on request from Operations teams (O&M).
- Contribute to continuous improvement of control solutions and team activities.

Qualifications and profile
Engineering degree (e.g., ENSAM, Centrale Lille, INSA LYON, ESIGELEC, SUPELEC, or equivalent) with solid experience in power system control (minimum 5 years).Autonomous, rigorous, good interpersonal skills, team-oriented, with a focus on automation and databases.Based in the Paris region or Lyon area with occasional travel in France and abroad.Strong organizational, initiative, and leadership abilities to guide teams within the group.Beyond technical skills, strong organizational sense, responsiveness, rigor, and good interpersonal relations are valued.EEO statement : Acompétences égales, le poste est ouvert aux personnes en situation de handicap.Benefits
