Develop and execute the operational audit strategy in alignment with corporate goals and risk management frameworks.
Design comprehensive audit plans covering hotel and resort operations, including revenue management, cost controls, procurement, inventory, payroll, guest services, etc.
Identify key risks within operational and financial processes specific to the hospitality industry and propose risk mitigation strategies.
Review the design and effectiveness of internal controls, compliance with SOPs, brand standards, and applicable regulations.
Present detailed audit findings, risk assessments, and actionable recommendations to senior management.
Manage and mentor a team of auditors; ensure proper training, performance monitoring, and professional development.
Act as a business partner to hotel GMs and department heads, providing practical guidance to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, brand standards, safety, environmental, and labor laws across jurisdictions.
Lead investigations related to irregularities or suspected fraud in property operations.
