Assistant Finance Controlling Manager (Indonesia)
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Finance Controlling Manager to join our dynamic Finance Team. You will play a key role in supporting the financial integrity and operational effectiveness of the business. This role is hands-on and requires a strong technical foundation in accounting and tax, with the ability to lead statutory compliance, manage month-end processes, and drive continuous improvements.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders, Shared Services Centre, and external auditors and tax agents to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with local regulations, while supporting the Finance Team in achieving key business objectives in a fast-paced retail environment.

Financial Reporting and Compliance
- Leading the preparation and review of high quality monthly financial statements and balance sheet reconciliation
- Ensuring compliance with local statutory requirements and internal financial policies
- Coordinating and supporting the year-end statutory audit, liaising with external auditors to resolve audit queries and ensuring timely sign-off of annual financial statements
- Overseeing tax-related matters including annual company tax filings, transfer pricing, and GST compliance in collaboration with external tax agents
Financial Operations
Working closely with the Shared Services Centre and Finance Team to support smooth daily operations across AP, AR, GL, Treasury and month-end activitiesMonitoring internal controls and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce financial riskSupporting the Finance Team on cash management, intercompany transactions, and treasury-related mattersBudgeting, Forecasting, and Analysis
Providing analytical support during budgeting, forecasting, and month-end closingAssisting with financial modelling and scenario planning for retail operationsStakeholder Engagement
Working closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, commercial and HR to support business objectives and ensure financial alignmentManaging relationships with external stakeholders such as auditors, tax agents, and the company secretary for secretarial compliancePeople Management

A Degree or professional qualifications in Finance / Accounting (eg : ACCA, CPA, ICAEW)At least 5 years in a similar capacity, preferably within retail or FMCG industryExperience in a Big 4 audit firm is a strong advantageSolid knowledge of accounting principles, Indonesia tax regulations, and internal controlsHands-on experience with SAP and strong Excel skills are requiredDetail-oriented, analytical, and hands-on.
