Job Description
- Vessel Coordination : Manage the arrival, turnaround, and departure of vessels at port, coordinating with port authorities and ship operators.
- Documentation : Handle all necessary documentation, declarations, and formalities for smooth port entry and exit. Handle SITIMAT operational system.
- Liaison : Act as a crucial liaison between the vessel owners / operators, port authorities, customs officials, and other maritime stakeholders.
- Crew Support : Assist with crew needs such as immigration, customs clearance, lodging, travel, and transportation.
- Vendor & Service Management : Arrange for various services for the vessel while in port, including food deliveries, supplies, and maintenance.
- Regulatory Compliance : Ensure adherence to all relevant port, customs, and governmental regulations.
- Administrative Tasks : Maintain accurate vessel files and administrative records, and assist with billing procedures.
- Communication : Maintain ongoing, efficient communication with principals, port terminals, shippers, vendors, and government agencies.
