Midplaza Holding is hiring Finance Accounting & Tax Supervisor in Jakarta.
We are looking for a detail‑oriented and experienced Accounting Supervisor to oversee daily accounting operations and ensure our financial records are accurate and up to date. This role will support the company’s growth through timely reporting, compliance, and team supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day‑to‑day accounting activities, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure timely month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
- Review journal entries, financial statements, and supporting documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable standards (PSAK / IFRS).
- Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and relevant government institutions.
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements as needed.
- Assist in developing internal controls and accounting policies to maintain a strong control environment.
- Lead and support the accounting team by providing guidance, training, and performance evaluation.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations and accurate reporting.
- Prepare General Ledgers (GL) for the Aruna Group, perform inter‑company reconciliations, and prepare consolidation reports and elimination entries.
- Participate in audit processes and liaise with external auditors.
- Collaborate with the General Affairs division to maintain the fixed asset register.
- Review daily submissions from the operations team.
- Calculate cost structure for sales and review monthly budgets and subsidiaries’ reports.
- Supervise and monitor all staff in Accounts Payable and Reporting to ensure adherence to standard procedures.
- Prepare accounting journal entries, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Prepare detailed outstanding balance sheets and COGS analysis by product, FOH analysis.
- Review all payment documents to suppliers before approval by Accounting Manager.
- Coordinate with warehouse and other departments for monthly stock opname and audit.
- Assist the Accounting Manager in fulfilling audited financial reports and support the tax team in meeting SP2 tax authorities.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Minimum 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, including 1–2 years in a supervisory role.Solid understanding of PSAK / IFRS accounting principles and financial reporting.Experience with accounting software (SAP, Accurate, Oracle, Odoo, etc.).Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.High attention to detail and accuracy.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.Experience in supervising day‑to‑day accounting operations across multiple entities.Experience coordinating internal and external audits, including audit preparation and findings.Hands‑on experience supporting or leading the implementation of accounting systems.Proficiency in account reconciliations with attention to documentation for tax and compliance.Ability to coach, guide, and develop junior accounting staff.Strong communication skills and ability to work with tax, finance, and operations teams.Understanding of internal control frameworks and ensuring adherence to SOPs.Familiarity with SAP FI, MM, SD modules.English fluency in communication and correspondence.Preference for candidates living near South Jakarta.#J-18808-Ljbffr
