Overview
The Utility & Facilities Supervisor will oversee the operations and maintenance of the utility and facilities division within the organization. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient functioning, maintenance, and continuous improvement of systems related to utilities, buildings, and facilities. These systems include water, electricity, power distribution, power generators, chillers, HVAC, building infrastructure, automated warehouse systems, and other essential services such as wastewater treatment (WWTP) and water distribution. The supervisor will also focus on optimizing utility usage for energy efficiency, enhancing sustainability, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The role supports the organization’s environmental and operational goals.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Maintenance Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations of facilities and infrastructure, including close collaboration with production, warehouse, QA, and general affairs teams.
- Lead and manage maintenance activities for facilities and infrastructure, ensuring regular checks and upkeep of critical systems including HVAC, Chillers, Cooling Towers, Hydrant Systems, Fire Sprinklers, Air Compressors, WWTP, Power Distribution, Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS), and Solar Panels, with a focus on reliability maintenance.
- Coordinate utility supply and usage with external providers, including PLN (electricity), PDAM (water), gas suppliers, and diesel fuel suppliers.
- Lead energy-saving initiatives, improve utility usage efficiency, and collaborate with EHS teams on environmental and sustainability programs.
- Monitor vendor / supplier performance throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with the agreed-upon plans. Intervene when necessary and report deviations or failures to the direct supervisor.
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and government regulations related to utilities within Lamipak.
- Manage the operational and maintenance budget for utilities.
- Oversee spare parts usage and stock to ensure the reliability and efficiency of utility systems.
Qualifications
A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related field.A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in utility and facilities management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.Experience with ASRS (Automated Storage and Retrieval System) or energy-saving programs is preferred.Ability to read and interpret drawings (PnID), wiring diagrams, and electrical single-line diagrams.Experience with PLC systems (Siemens) and automation systems is a plus.Familiarity with energy usage reporting and analysis.Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with English as the working language.Willingness to be based in Cikande, Kabupaten Serang.(We strongly encourage applications from individuals with disabilities, candidates from underrepresented communities, and those from disadvantaged backgrounds).About Us
