Role : Channel Sales Manager – focus on sales growth and market expansion through distributors, resellers, and partners, covering Socomec’s full suite of products. The role emphasizes business development, account growth, and reseller retention, supported by pipeline management and joint go-to-market strategies. Requires expertise in B2B channel dynamics and distribution operations to capture opportunities, deliver year-on-year revenue growth, and strengthen Socomec’s market presence.
Responsibilities
- Channel Sales Strategy - Develop and execute go-to-market strategies through partners (distributors, resellers, system integrators / contractors).
- Drive sales growth in a broad-base reseller through distributor network and direct engagement for Socomec’s entire suite of products.
- Define sales targets, KPIs, and growth plans for channel partners.
- Partner Development & Management - Recruit, onboard, and develop channel partners.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with partners.
- Provide training, incentives, and sales support to help partners succeed.
- Create and implement strategies, marketing programs, and sales initiatives to maximize product sales through indirect channels.
- Develop revenue for the assigned partner portfolio and maintain a constant pipeline at 3x of sales targets and a consistent run-rate of business.
- Manage revenue and market share growth with the assigned partner portfolio according to YOY fiscal budget.
- Negotiate contracts and resolve conflicts with channel partners.
- Internal Coordination - Work closely with marketing, supply chain, service, and project management teams to enable customer satisfaction.
- Identify areas for improvement and discuss required actions with the reporting manager to bridge gaps and support target achievement.
- Revenue & Performance Management - Drive revenue through channel partners and ensure sales targets are achieved; monitor and evaluate partner performance and prepare regular reports for management.
- Market Development and Brand Awareness - Execute a broad-base reseller retention / expansion plan with distributor development as a key objective and partner retention.
- Depth-growth plan including mindshare / share-of-wallet conversion; develop joint go-to-market strategy and success metrics to enable selling Socomec’s entire suite of products through partners.
- Possess knowledge of B2B (Channels) business dynamics, distribution operations, and landscape to enable growth in market shares.
Requirements
Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Engineering / Business.Minimum 5 years of channel sales experience in product sales for mission-critical industries and in a similar industry.Minimum 3 years of experience in UPS industry or IT distribution industry.Well-connected with experience dealing with IT System Integrators, Distributors, and Resellers.Preferably good understanding of Enterprise Data Center and Edge Computing markets.Note : The description above focuses on the Channel Sales Manager responsibilities and requirements.
