Client Overview

Our client is a brand-new luxury villa complex established in 2024. Nestled in the heart of Pererenan, Canggu, Bali’s newest upscale town and one of the island’s fastest-growing lifestyle destinations, it features 12 exclusive loft villas with a modern, sophisticated design. The property offers a unique blend of privacy, comfort, and personalized service in a serene coastal setting, making it a standout choice for international travelers and discerning long‑stay guests. With a strong focus on guest experience, attention to detail, and premium hospitality standards, the team culture emphasizes personal responsibility, initiative, and teamwork.

Job Role

The General Manager will oversee all operational aspects of the property, ensuring seamless coordination between teams and departments. This includes supervision of housekeeping, maintenance, front office, inventory, and revenue management functions. The role also involves managing staff recruitment, vendor relations, and budgeting, as well as supporting financial processes such as payments and expense tracking.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operations & Property Management : Oversee daily operations of all villas / lofts, including housekeeping, maintenance, and front office activities. Ensure property standards for cleanliness, safety, and maintenance are consistently met. Supervise and train operational teams to deliver high‑quality guest service. Manage maintenance schedules and coordinate with service providers for timely repairs.
  • Revenue & Reservation Management : Oversee and coordinate with the revenue management team to monitor occupancy, pricing, and online sales performance (OTA, direct bookings, etc.). Review and approve room rate updates, seasonal promotions, and channel management activities. Monitor and analyze revenue reports and propose improvement strategies.
  • Financial & Administrative Oversight : Oversee accounting team activities including invoice validation, vendor payments, and petty cash management. Support budget preparation, expense control, and financial reporting. Monitor procurement, stock, and inventory management.
  • Team Management & Recruitment : Lead and supervise key departments : front office, housekeeping, maintenance, security, and accounting. Recruit, train, and evaluate staff performance to ensure a high‑functioning, motivated team. Create duty rosters and ensure adequate staffing coverage.
  • Guest Experience & Quality Control : Ensure prompt and effective handling of guest inquiries and complaints. Maintain a strong presence on property, greeting guests and ensuring service standards. Develop and implement initiatives to improve guest satisfaction and online ratings.
  • Safety & Compliance : Ensure compliance with local labor, safety, and hospitality regulations. Maintain property safety standards, including fire safety, pool safety, and emergency protocols.

Candidate Requirements

  • Education : Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
  • Experience : Minimum 7 years in the hospitality industry, particularly hotels, villas, etc.; at least 3 years in senior management roles (Senior Manager, General Manager, etc.). Proven background managing 10–20 villas.
  • Strong understanding of revenue management, operations, and team supervision.
  • Language Skills : Strong verbal communication skills and professional English proficiency.
  • Technical Skills : Proficient in PMS and OTA platforms (Booking.com, Airbnb, Agoda, etc.). Knowledge of inventory control, maintenance systems, and procurement processes. Familiar with basic accounting oversight and vendor payment processes.
  • Personal Attributes : Hands‑on, trustworthy, and proactive. Strong leadership and decision‑making skills. Detail‑oriented, calm under pressure, and service‑driven. Able to maintain confidentiality and represent the property professionally.
