DevOps Engineer - Remote (Jakarta) with Singapore Travel

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI / CD pipelines to support efficient, reliable, and secure software delivery processes.
  • Automate build, test, and deployment processes across development, staging, and production environments.
  • Manage and monitor infrastructure, ensuring system performance, scalability, and high availability.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of applications.
  • Develop infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions to manage cloud and on-premise environments.
  • Monitor system health, troubleshoot performance issues, and ensure effective incident response.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in DevOps tools, practices, and standards.
  • For higher levels : provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, and define DevOps strategies for scalability and automation.

Requirements

  • Minimum education : Diploma (D3) in any major, preferably in Information Technology or Computer Science.
  • Experience in IT operations, system administration, or DevOps engineering aligned with the role level (Junior, Middle, or Senior).
  • Solid understanding of software development processes, CI / CD concepts, and system automation.
  • Hands-on experience with tools and technologies such as :
  • Jenkins, Git / GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, ArgoCD, Nexus, SonarQube, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Cloud Platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
  • Knowledge of programming or scripting languages such as Python, Bash, Java, or Groovy.
  • Familiar with monitoring and logging tools, configuration management, and infrastructure orchestration.
  • Understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and collaboration tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
  • Basic knowledge of networking, security principles, and cloud-native architecture (e.g., microservices, containers).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex system issues.
  • For senior levels : proven experience designing DevOps architecture, managing infrastructure at scale, and leading DevOps initiatives.
