About the Job
The Business Director role is expected to drive business development activities to continuously drive revenue and profitability of the banking products. The role is also expected to work closely with regional credit risk function of the group to ensure the asset quality of the bank is healthy and manageable
Expected outcomes within 12 months :
- Agree RAC for new lending products with regional credit risk
- Establish processes to ensure smooth interaction with regional credit risk
- Build validated pipeline for new lending products
- Devise go-to-market playbook for new lending products
- Validate a new alternative funding products as additional source of funding to support loan book growth
Minimum Qualifications
Demonstrated 5+ years experience in banking industryAt least 3+ years of experience in sales / business development function of a financial services institutionFluent in written and verbal EnglishHas proven track records in credit risk analysis, business lending savvy with sufficient knowledge of consumer lending and other lending segmentYou’re willing to work harder than most and humble enough to learn from people much younger than youYou are agile, willing to work on various tasks of different natures if necessaryYou communicate well across teamsYou thrive on autonomy and have proven you can push towards a goal by yourselfWhen your coworker needs help late at night and it’s not related to you, you’re down to support them on menial tasks if it makes their lives easierCandidate who has a great ownership mentality and a team player that can be relied onPreferred Qualifications
