This role oversees daily cost control and auditing functions within the Finance Department, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all cost-related activities. The Team Leader monitors food, beverage, and operational costs, verifies inventory movements, and ensures strict adherence to Hyatt’s policies and financial standards. Working closely with Purchasing, Receiving, and F&B teams, the Team Leader maintains transparent reporting while identifying cost-saving opportunities and driving operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Cost Audit Team Leader oversees daily cost control and auditing functions within the Finance Department, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all cost-related activities. This key role monitors food, beverage, and operational costs, verifies inventory movements, and ensures strict adherence to Hyatt's policies and financial standards. Working closely with Purchasing, Receiving, and F&B teams, the Team Leader maintains transparent reporting while identifying cost-saving opportunities and driving operational excellence.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience in a cost control or audit role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a hotel or resort setting.
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and auditing capabilities with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
  • Proficiency in hotel management systems such as Birch Streets, Iscala, or similar procurement and inventory platforms.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments including F&B, Purchasing, and Operations.
  • High integrity, strong organizational skills, and proven leadership in maintaining cost efficiency, operational compliance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
