SENIOR ASSOCIATE (LEGAL)

1. Bachelor of Law and hold PERADI license;

2. Must have a minimum of 5 years of working experience in law firms focusing on corporate and commercial transactions;

3. Have strong legal knowledge of corporate and commercial law, construction law, energy law, and cross-border transactions;

4. Reliable experience in handling corporate actions such as mergers and acquisitions, spin-offs, liquidations, and designing joint venture schemes, including providing legal advice in the form of legal due diligence and transactional documents;

5. Extensive experience in handling corporate transactions, such as providing end-to-end cooperation schemes for investors with their local partners in construction, energy, and cross-border projects;

6. Experience in preparing structured legal opinions, reliable in providing and finalizing the partner’s overview;

7. Adequate legal knowledge regarding land acquisitions, capable of advising clients on land-related matters;

8. Reliable in handling general litigation; experience in legal proceedings is an advantage;

9. High attention to detail and strong organizational skills;

10. Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines;

11. Fluent in English, both written and spoken;

12. Willing to undertake domestic or international business trips.

Job Responsibilities :

• Responsible for completing tasks assigned by the company;
• Draft, review, and revise legal documents requested by clients, e.g., agreements, letters, legal memoranda, legal opinions, legal due diligence reports, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures;
• Lead or participate in projects;
• Conduct internal quality control on legal documents;
• Provide final review of drafts prepared by Middle Associates;
• Assist and provide guidance to Middle Associates, Paralegals, and Sales teams;
• Collaborate with Partners on legal tasks.
