Job Purpose

As the Assistant Engineering Manager for Foods 3P, you will be responsible for managing and improving the engineering performance of third-party manufacturing sites. You will ensure that Unilever’s standards for safety, quality, efficiency, and sustainability are upheld, while driving continuous improvement and innovation in manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership : Provide engineering support and guidance to 3P factories to ensure optimal equipment performance and reliability.
• Project Management : Lead and support capital expenditure (CapEx) projects, including equipment upgrades, installations, and process improvements.
• Performance Monitoring : Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), energy usage, and maintenance costs.
• Compliance & Standards : Ensure 3P sites comply with Unilever’s safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Continuous Improvement : Drive productivity and cost-saving initiatives through Lean, TPM, and digital tools.
• Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with internal teams (Quality, Safety, Supply Chain, Procurement) and external partners to ensure seamless operations.
• Innovation Support : Collaborate with R&D and Supply Chain teams to support new product introductions and process innovations at 3P sites.
