Data Tech Engineer

whitson is looking for a meticulous and motivated Data Tech Engineer to join our growing team in Indonesia. You’ll work closely with a senior engineer based in Jakarta and another in Norway — both originally from Indonesia — ensuring you’ll always have local guidance and mentorship nearby.

In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting both our consulting group and our clients by helping manage and structure PVT data (from PVT reports) in the whitsonPVT software platform. Your contribution will help our engineers and clients make better decisions faster and with greater confidence.

What you’ll do

• Collect and prepare data : Carefully read, interpret, and enter PVT data from various technical reports into the whitsonPVT software.
• Support database workflows : Help maintain and improve data quality within our internal and client‑facing databases.
• Collaborate across teams : Work hand‑in‑hand with senior engineers in Jakarta and Norway, learning best practices and contributing to shared goals.
• Ensure data integrity : Check for consistency, accuracy, and completeness before final submission.
• Continuously improve : Identify opportunities to streamline data handling processes and suggest improvements to our workflows.
