About the Role
Contract period until the end of May 2026, working in a hybrid arrangement in Jakarta HQ.
Job Responsibilities
- Act as the key buyer for logistics-related and general services procurement (e.g., transportation, warehouse services, freight forwarding, consultancy, pest control, GA, etc.).
- Lead supplier sourcing, selection, and negotiation processes to achieve cost and service optimization.
- Engage cross-functionally with Logistics, Finance, Legal, and other teams to understand needs and define sourcing strategies.
- Manage the full procurement cycle from request to purchase order, including vendor communication, price negotiation, contract issuance, approval flow, and performance evaluation.
- Draft and administer contracts in coordination with Legal and internal stakeholders to ensure clarity and compliance.
- Ensure timely updates and data accuracy in procurement systems.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal policies and budget approvals.
- Monitor supplier performance and manage service level agreements (SLAs).
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through negotiation, supplier consolidation, or process improvement.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to define procurement needs and specifications.
- Maintain updated records and documentation for internal and external audits.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from a top university.2 years’ experience in procurement function; experience in MNC and logistics buyers is preferred.Good interpersonal skills to communicate, negotiate, and influence with cross-functional stakeholders and suppliers.Detail oriented and able to manage multiple priorities independently.Fluent in English with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Intermediate Excel skills for cost analysis and tracking.Strong analytical thinking, with the ability to work independently under deadlines.Seniority level
