Overview

Senior Java Software Engineer | Product R&D, Innovation & Ownership role at CSG – join to apply for this position. This role is within the team that designs and develops CSG Quote & Order, a cutting-edge order management and quoting (CPQ) platform. The platform is built with modern technologies and supports cloud (AWS & Azure) and on-premise deployments.

What You Will Do

  • Champion clean, efficient code by giving thoughtful PR feedback and maintaining high standards.
  • Mentor and inspire the team by sharing your expertise and helping others grow.
  • Collaborate with product and design teams to translate customer needs into impactful, user-friendly features.
  • Take ownership across our systems. Identify inefficiencies, resolve bottlenecks, and keep services running smoothly.
  • Evaluate new tools, frameworks, and trends to keep us at the forefront of innovation and productivity.

Role Requirements

  • 5+ years building with modern Java SE (17+).
  • Strong teamwork, with the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively.
  • Linux and Docker are part of your natural habitat; comfortable in this environment.
  • Experience with development tools like GitHub, Maven, and Kubernetes.
  • Bonus : AWS / Azure, PL / PGSQL, MyBatis, Camunda BPMN Engine, REST API frameworks, and other parts of our stack.
