Position Summary

We are seeking a forward-thinking and technically skilled developer to lead rapid prototyping of Android applications and Knox SDK / API integration tailored for vertical industry use cases. This role involves deep collaboration with ISV / SI partners, leveraging Samsung Knox technologies, and driving innovation in enterprise mobility solutions.

Role And Responsibilities

  • Develop prototype Android applications using Samsung Knox Platform, Knox SDK, and Knox APIs.
  • Deliver technical workshops and enablement sessions for ISV partners on Knox Platform for Enterprise.
  • Lead technical collaboration with ISV / SI partners to create and validate proof-of-concept (PoC) solutions.
  • Prepare and present weekly progress reports to internal stakeholders.
  • Advocate and implement modern development methodologies in both Android and backend development.
  • This position will be hired under a third-party contract.

Skills And Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Equivalent industry experience with a strong portfolio of Android and enterprise application development.
  • Strong in Kotlin and Java for Android development.
  • Strong in Backend development : Spring Boot, Node.js, Kotlin / Java.
  • Strong in Web Development (Frontend) : HTML5, CSS3 / Tailwind CSS, JS, React.js, Next.js, TypeScript.
  • Deep knowledge of Android SDK, including components and Android Framework internals.
  • Experience with Wear OS, Jetpack Compose, MVVM architecture, and Dependency Injection (Hilt / Dagger).
  • Familiarity with Android Management APIs and Device Policy Controller (DPC).
  • Ability to design intuitive and visually appealing interfaces following Material Design guidelines.
  • Ability to adopt design UI / UX to code implementation including UX workflow.
  • Familiar with API Development : RESTful, GraphQL,
  • Database : MariaDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite.
  • Web Servers : Apache, Nginx, Deployment : Linux, (CentOS / Ubuntu), Docker.
  • Experience with Firebase (Authentication
  • Cloud Messaging)
  • Integration with cloud platforms and enterprise APIs.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging capabilities.
  • English proficiency is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to challenge existing practices and propose modern methodologies, such as modular architecture, clean architecture, microservices, serverless backend design, Agile / Scrum, DevOps.
  • High adaptability to emerging technologies and Android platform updates.
  • Passion for continuous learning, innovation, and technical excellence.
