Monitor the work progress, ensuring compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and schedule milestones. Provide guidance and direction to maintain alignment with the objectives
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to verify that construction work meets required standards. Identify and address any deviations to ensure quality control from start to finish
Work closely with the project team to monitor budgets and control costs, reviewing contractor claims, change orders, and invoices to ensure alignment with contractual terms
Proactively identify potential issues and risks, working with project management to implement corrective actions. Facilitate prompt resolution of on-site challenges to prevent delays and cost overruns
Serve as the primary on-site point of contact, ensuring transparent communication and regular updates on project status, challenges, and solutions. Prepare and present weekly / monthly progress reports
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
Minimum 20 years in construction management, with a background in large-scale industrial or power plant projects, ideally in an owner's representative or client-side role
Strong knowledge of construction methods, power plant systems, and industry regulations
Excellent skills in quality assurance, contractor management, and stakeholder communication
