About the Role
Based at Surabaya and reporting to the Maintenance Executor Lead, the Maintenance Planner aims to ensure all maintenance activities for machines and facilities are well-planned, efficient, and timely. This role is crucial in minimizing downtime, optimizing resources, and maintaining asset reliability through systematic planning, scheduling, and coordination of maintenance operations.

Key responsibilities
Maintenance Planning : Develop Planned Maintenance (PM) schedules based on OEM guidelines and historical failure data. Define inspection, lubrication, part replacement frequencies, and other maintenance tasks. Create daily and weekly work plans for technicians and coordinate shutdowns or overhauls with the production team.Documentation & SOPs : Prepare detailed inspection checklists and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Issue and distribute Work Orders (WO) and archive all maintenance-related documents.Spare Parts & Inventory Management : Provide technical documentation and spare parts lists. Coordinate with the warehouse regarding part availability, shelf life, and inventory updates.Asset Data & Analysis : Input and update asset information, maintenance schedules, and history. Compile troubleshooting guides and Bills of Materials (BOMs) for critical equipment.Performance Monitoring : Calculate and monitor MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures), MTTR (Mean Time to Repair), and OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness). Analyze breakdown history, downtime, labor hours, and PM compliance.Reporting & Coordination : Generate KPI reports such as PM Compliance, Breakdown Frequency, MTTR / MTBF. Collaborate with Maintenance Lead, Project Engineer, Production, and CI Team to schedule and execute maintenance activities. Ensure proper documentation of feedback and job completion in the system.Technical Communication : Engage in discussions regarding maintenance issues with internal teams and external parties, including the Sandvik Global team.About You
You bring a tertiary qualification in Mechatronic or Electrical, complemented by hands-on experience in a similar role. You have a proven ability in project management, supported by strong planning and analytical skills. You excel at building strong working relationships, thriving in small teams and cross-functional environments. With excellent communication skills and a demonstrated ability to engage in high-level liaison and coordination with both internal and external team, you bring a collaborative mindset to every challenge.
