Description

As a Head of Finance, your main responsibilities will include :

  • Developing and implementing financial strategies aligned with the organisation's goals.
  • Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Ensuring compliance with local and international financial regulations.
  • Managing and mentoring the accounting and finance team to achieve operational excellence.
  • Providing actionable insights through financial analysis to support business decision-making.
  • Collaborating with other departments to optimise resource allocation.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting to stakeholders.
  • Identifying financial risks and implementing mitigation strategies.

Profile

A Successful Head Of Finance Should Have

  • At least a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, CA, or equivalent (preferred).
  • At least 10-12 years of experience with retail background; Big 4 experience will be a plus.
  • Proven expertise in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
  • Experience in managing and leading a team effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools.
