Solution Engineer Role Description

The Solution Engineer role is dynamic and cross-functional. You will collaborate with customers, sales, product management, and engineering teams to deliver turnkey networking solutions addressing service provider’s scale and capacity challenges related to 5G, next-gen internet, and data centers. As the technical lead, you will understand customer requirements, present solutions, plan, scope, build, demonstrate solutions, and conduct proof of concepts (PoC) to secure technical wins. You will also gather learnings from engagements to influence our roadmap, shaping next-generation Access, 5G, Optical transport, Data Center, and Provider Edge solutions.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead engagements on strategic projects by working with customers, internal teams, and partners to scope, design, develop, and prove solutions for service provider and data center networks.
• Develop proofs-of-concept (POCs) and prototypes to demonstrate feasibility and evangelize new OcNOS solutions.
• Collaborate with product teams to define platform requirements and plans for next-generation OcNOS solutions.
• Educate customers and partners on OcNOS and participate in architectural discussions to ensure successful deployment.
• Proactively resolve technical issues for customers.
• Create compelling presentations and demonstrations of new OcNOS solutions.
