Job descriptionHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in welding is preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in welding, preferably in a hospitality or commercial setting. Proficient in Electrical, Acetylin, Argon technique Strong understanding of welding safety standards and practices. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Good communication and teamwork skills. Physical stamina and manual dexterity are required for the job.
We are seeking a candidate who will be proficient in various welding techniques and responsible for maintaining and repairing the hotel infrastructure to ensure safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Perform welding, fabrication, and repair of metal structures and components as needed throughout the hotel.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the appropriate welding process.
- Conduct inspections of welds and related components to ensure compliance with safety standards and quality requirements.
- Maintain and repair welding equipment and tools, ensuring they are in optimal working condition.
- Collaborate with other engineering team members to prioritize tasks and resolve maintenance issues.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately.
- Assist in general maintenance tasks as needed.
