Join to apply for the Finance and Accounting Manager role at Agoda. This role is Bangkok-based with relocation support, within Agoda's Finance team responsible for day-to-day financial operations, financial reporting, risk management, and internal controls.

In this Role, you'll get to
- Work closely with stakeholders and lead financial reporting and operating functions to understand the impact of Company initiatives and projects.
- Manage and implement initiatives from a finance and accounting perspective, including requirements gathering, user acceptance testing, workflow design, post-go-live monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Identify and drive opportunities for process and technology improvements.
- Provide reports and analyses of the Company's financial performance to support management decision making.
- Address ad-hoc requests such as data extraction / analysis, risk and scope assessments for new initiatives.
- Coordinate with operations and support units to ensure timely and accurate data for internal and external reporting.
- Manage day-to-day financial activities, control financial resources, and ensure compliance with regulations, accounting principles, and standards.
- Troubleshoot problems and assess impacts on financial reporting, operations, and internal controls; identify potential gaps and areas for improvement.
- Supervise day-to-day operations and month-end closing for related areas.
- Maintain internal control environment in compliance with corporate policy, anti-corruption controls, and SOX requirements.
- Provide oversight, training, and coaching to department associates.
- Per form other related duties as assigned.
What you'll Need to Succeed
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting or Finance8–12 years of experience in finance operations (e.g., accounts payable / receivable), risk control, or finance with some management experienceExcellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skillsStrong problem-solving abilities and a proactive, adaptable mindsetDynamic, energetic, and able to work in a fast-paced environmentExperience in project managementFluent in spoken and written EnglishLeadership and team management skillsProficiency in PowerPoint and data presentation; strong Excel skillsFamiliarity with local / US GAAP and internal control knowledgeNice to have
CPA and audit backgroundExperience leading a teamExperience in payment solutions or credit card environmentsKnowledge of SQL and data analysis tools; macro-enabled ExcelAccounting experience in online travel agency businessEqual Opportunity Employer
