Job Description

• Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities in the financial sector, including banks, lending institutions, and other financial services providers.
• Provide analytical support to develop and implement formal ERM methodologies, including the identification, assessment, prioritization, tracking, mitigation, and reporting of risks.
• Identify potential business and operational risks of each department and respective business processes, make recommendations for additional controls and corrective action to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of operations and risk mitigation processes.
• Support the governance level of the organization in identifying if the design and operations of internal controls (or risk responses) are appropriate to achieve key objectives.
• Provide risk metrics and analyses to facilitate the monitoring of liquidity exposure and maintain appropriate risk appetite.
• Engage and develop effective working relationships to support cooperative response to risk management matters and issues.
• Implement enterprise and operational risk management policies and programs with process and risk owners in the first line of defense.
• Prepare regular reports for senior leadership, boards, and committees, providing insights into emerging risks and the effectiveness of risk management initiatives.
