Overview
Finance & Tax Officer (temporary maternity replacement, 4 months starting November) based in Jakarta. Role to perform and ensure proper recording of all accounting and financial data on a monthly and periodic basis; prepare financial statements, tax calculations, reporting, accounts receivable analysis, with assistance in annual audit. Reports directly to the Accounting Supervisor.
Job Responsibilities
- Accounting recording – prepare and post journals, journal vouchers, reconcile bank accounts, maintain asset registers, deliver monthly internal bank reports.
- Taxation – calculate Articles 21, 23, 25, VAT; prepare tax documents and reports; ensure timely payment to tax authorities.
- Reporting – compile monthly management accounts (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow); manage accounts receivable and collections; report cash advance summaries; submit periodic LKPM / Investment Board reports twice per year.
- Collaboration – work Accounting Supervisor, Key Account Managers, Sales team, GA Supervisor, and Heads of Department on invoicing, cash advances, procurement, client relationships; assist with non‑accounting tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements
Education
Minimum Bachelor degree in Finance or Accounting.Certified Tax Brevet A and B.Experience
Minimum 3 years in a similar Finance & Tax Officer or staff role.Technical Skills
Proficiency with accounting / finance applications and Excel / Word.Ability to analyze financial statements and tax information.Knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations (Articles 4.2, 21, 23, 25, 29, VAT). Preparation of journal entries, client invoices, accounts receivable follow‑up, expense claims, settlement of cash advances.Management reporting skills and proficiency in Coretax, DJP Online, e‑Faktur, Enofa, internet banking.Knowledge
In-depth understanding of Indonesian tax laws and financial regulations.Familiarity with tax returns (WHT, VAT) and tax planning & strategy.Language Skills
Bahasa Indonesian – proficiency (verbal & written).English – proficient (verbal & written, preferred).Other Skills
Strong administrative accuracy and detail orientation.Excellent communication, coordinator, time‑management, and technology skills.Proactive problem‑solving attitude with a 'can‑do' mindset.Other Requirements
