Finance Manager - AJO

KBR’s Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) group is looking for a Finance Manager to support the Abadi LNG project, one of the largest projects in Asia. This project will provide front-end design (FEED) for onshore liquefied natural gas facilities and will have peak production capacity targets of 9.5 million tons per annum of LNG and 150 million standard cubic feet per day of pipeline gas. The Abadi LNG project has been designated a project of national strategic importance by the Indonesian government.

The Finance Manager will lead and oversee all financial activities for the Abadi Project. This role is a leadership position with end-to-end ownership of the project’s financial operations, including day-to-day bookkeeping, project accounting, invoicing, tax compliance, and banking.

This role is a strong steppingstone to additional opportunities within KBR and the region.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive understanding of AJO set-up (JV agreement, Client contract, Sponsor agreements) to ensure efficient processing of invoices and accurate bookkeeping
• Timely production of Direct Cashflow forecast and P&L reporting to aid in project understanding and cashflow management within the AJO
• Oversee tax compliance, liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities
• Coordinate with a Chennai-based finance team to streamline processes, share best practices, and optimize financial operations
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in financial processes
• Relationship owner and management of the AJO Partners, regional Operational Lead and project director pertaining to all things “Finance” through the timely provision of management and KPI reporting on the health of the AJO
• Treasury function coordination in partnership with the KBR Group – banking and bonding
