We are looking for an agile and result driven Senior Sales Manager to join our Integrated Sales team in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Key Responsibilities :

Client Strategy and planning

  • Lead and grow relationships with global FMCG and Retail customers, aligning with Maersk’s global strategy while responding to the fast-paced and consumer-driven dynamics
  • Build and execute tailored business development plans that drive wallet share growth through Maersk’s product offerings.
  • Work hand-in-hand with local product teams to align commercial strategies, strengthen operational execution, and drive profitability through customer-centric logistics solutions.

Customer Satisfaction

  • Collaborate with global account managers to ensure that the global value proposition remains relevant and responsive to local market needs.
  • Deliver client profitability

  • Safeguard contract adherence and performance excellence
  • Customer Relationship

  • Position Maersk as a strategic supply chain partner to stakeholders by demonstrating deep market understanding, agility in response, and operational resilience.
  • Strengthen Maersk’s influence in shaping regional decisions by engaging with procurement, supply chain, and commercial functions at the local level, while aligning with global tender strategies.
  • We are looking for :

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the logistics and supply chain industry, with a strong preference for candidates who have established networks within the FMCG and retail sectors
  • Strong expertise in Contract Logistics and Ocean Freight, with deep knowledge of the Indonesia market and customer landscape.
  • Proven ability to engage in consultative, solution-based selling by aligning Maersk’s offerings with customer pain points, particularly in warehousing, distribution, and ocean transportation.
  • Possesses a solid understanding of how Maersk’s integrated logistics solutions address operational inefficiencies and drive value for clients in key Indonesian industries.
  • Skilled in strategic influence and stakeholder engagement, with a track record of navigating complex negotiations and procurement discussions.
  • Adept at building strategic partnerships, managing cross-functional teams in a matrix environment, and delivering impactful customer presentations that blend financial insight with logistics value creation.
