Responsibilities

  • Report to CSC Manager / Solution Lead / Specialist, assisting in research and development projects and assignments in a timely manner with high technical integrity.
  • Prepare food & beverage product samples with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
  • Manage the inventory for raw materials, finished goods and consumable items for the laboratory.
  • Perform regular maintenance of laboratory equipment by inspecting calibrating, cleaning, or sterilizing.
  • Maintain good record of testing results. Able to present and interpret analysis of the data where required.
  • Ensure Occupational Health & Safety guidelines are being adhered to across the premises.
  • Ensure all responsibilities and activities associated with this role meet the requirement of service quality, product quality and product safety.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • A diploma or certificate in Food Science / Technology, Food Engineering or a related field is required.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in food industry.
  • Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with colleagues.
  • Ability to work with multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment is required.
  • Ability to conduct experimental design tests and accurately report results is required.
