Job description

We are seeking an experienced Consultant SAP FI (Financial Accounting) to join our delivery team. The role will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP FI solutions to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance, and process efficiency across the organization. This position requires deep functional knowledge of SAP FI modules, hands‑on configuration experience, and strong collaboration with finance and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute SAP FI implementation, rollout, and support projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, time, and quality standards.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP FI functional designs and configurations.
  • Configure and support core SAP FI components including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Bank Accounting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (CO, MM, SD, and ABAP) to ensure end-to-end process integration and data consistency.
  • Conduct workshops, gather requirements, prepare functional specifications (FS), and perform testing (unit, integration, and UAT).
  • Support financial closing activities, reporting, and reconciliation processes within SAP.
  • Troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, and provide effective resolutions or enhancements.
  • Assist in data migration, master data setup, and interface testing with external systems.
  • Support pre‑sales activities by providing domain expertise, effort estimation, and technical validation when required.
  • Stay up to date with SAP best practices, S / 4HANA Finance innovations, and digital finance transformation trends.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in SAP FI implementation and support projects.
  • Strong understanding of core financial accounting processes such as GL, AP, AR, AA, and bank reconciliation.
  • Proven experience in integration with CO, MM, SD, and other related SAP modules.
  • Experience with SAP S / 4HANA Finance or migration projects is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of tax configuration, financial reporting, and local statutory requirements is an advantage.
  • SAP certification in Financial Accounting (SAP FI) is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong problem‑solving and documentation abilities with attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a dynamic project environment.
