Overview

PT Dian Swastatika Sentosa Tbk or its subsidiaries are looking for high potential candidates to be employed as Chief Operating Officer (COO) – Gas Upstream with the following details :

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Geoscience, Business Administration, or related field, MBA is an advantage.
  • Minimum 20 years of experience in the oil & gas industry with at least 10 years in upstream operations, including exploration, development, and production.
  • Proven track record in strategic expansion, M&A, and joint venture management within the energy sector.
  • Strong technical understanding of upstream gas operations, reservoir management, drilling, and production optimization.
  • Excellent knowledge of regulatory frameworks, permits, and government relations in the oil & gas industry.
  • Strong leadership experience in managing multidisciplinary teams across operations, engineering, HSE, and commercial functions.
  • Solid financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control, and capital project management.
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, partners, and investors.
  • Strong negotiation and decision-making skills, with the ability to drive large-scale projects and strategic deals.
  • Excellent communication skills in English

Job Descriptions

  • Lead and oversee all upstream gas operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Develop and execute strategies for exploration, development, and production to maximize resource value.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for strategic expansion, acquisitions, partnerships, and mergers to grow the gas business.
  • Manage and optimize operational performance, including drilling, reservoir management, and production efficiency.
  • Oversee HSE standards and practices, ensuring a safe and sustainable working environment.
  • Collaborate with government bodies and regulators to secure licenses, permits, and approvals.
  • Provide strong financial oversight, ensuring capital allocation and investment decisions align with company goals.
  • Build and maintain high-level relationships with industry partners, joint venture stakeholders, and potential investors.
  • Report to the CEO and Board of Directors on operational performance, expansion opportunities, and M&A activities.
  • Lead and develop cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and accountability.
