Job description

1. Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Education : A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting.
  • Experience : A minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with at least 5 years in a senior managerial or leadership role. Significant experience within the textile, garment, or manufacturing industry is essential.
  • Industry-Specific Knowledge : A deep understanding of textile and garment or manufacturing industry processes, supply chain, cost structures, and industry-specific financial metrics. Knowledge of export-import and international trade finance is advantageous.

2. Key Skills and Competencies

  • Technical Skills :

    • In-depth knowledge of financial reporting standards.

  • Expertise in financial analysis, financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, GP).
  • Strong knowledge of tax regulations.
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
  • Leadership and Soft Skills :

    • Proven leadership and team management abilities with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.

  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
  • High level of integrity, professional ethics, and a strategic mindset.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
