Finance Business Partner Manager (Minimarket Channel)
We’re looking for a Finance Partner who truly gets the Minimarket game.
If you’ve wrestled with complex trade terms, navigated tough promo ROI cases, and know what it takes to drive profitability in Minimarket channels (Alfamart, Indomaret, etc.) , this role is for you. We need someone strong in FMCG , commercially sharp, and ready to co‑own the business with our Sales & Marketing leaders — not just report the numbers.
This is a strategic finance role where you’ll help shape business direction, manage trade spend challenges, and turn insights into real commercial impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner closely with Sales & Marketing to build accurate budgets, forecasts, and long‑term plans — especially for Minimarket and Modern Trade channels .
- Provide actionable insights on pricing, trade spend, and ROI to maximize channel profitability.
- Translate sales performance and customer data into strategic recommendations for growth.
Commercial Business Partnership
Act as a financial co‑pilot to commercial leaders — guiding strategic decisions in trade negotiations, promotions, and customer programs .Evaluate financial impact of new launches, campaigns, and key account initiatives.Provide clear, data‑backed advice to overcome channel‑specific challenges like trade term inflation, promo inefficiencies, or underperforming SKUs.Performance Management & Reporting
Conduct deep‑dive variance analyses, identifying root causes and corrective actions .Present insights to senior leadership, flagging risks, opportunities, and channel improvement areas .Trade Spend & Promotional Optimization
Oversee Minimarket trade spend governance — ensuring promotions deliver measurable ROI.Analyze promo effectiveness across brands, SKUs, and customers, recommending smarter spend allocation .Ensure strong financial discipline and compliance in trade execution.Process Improvement & Cost Management
Continuously improve finance processes for the Commercial Department , boosting speed and visibility.Lead cost optimization and efficiency initiatives without slowing down the business.Lead and develop a high‑performing finance team with a business partner mindset .Work cross‑functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain to align financial and commercial goals.Qualifications
3+ years in Finance, with at least 1 year in business partnering or managerial role .Proven FMCG experience , ideally handling Minimarket (Alfamart, Indomaret) and Modern Trade .Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field .Commercially sharp, analytical, and solution‑oriented.Thrives in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment and enjoys solving real business problems.Seniority level
