McConnell Dowell Indonesia is looking to hire a General Accountant for our head office in Jakarta

About the Role

• Ensure the accurate preparation and timely submission of monthly financial reports as required by the General Manager-Finance and Corporate Office including monthly MR6, Cash Flow Forecast (Weekly & Monthly), Management Accounts & Jedox Forecast reports.
• Liaise with General Manager-Finance and produce divisional reports as required including Overhead, Forex Analysis and other reports.
• Preparation of Half Year and Full Year Pack and liaise with group auditors as required.
• Ensure all General Ledger accounts are reconciled monthly, correct & current and properly presented in Blackline.
• Ensure all in country statutory reporting obligations are met and complied with – (a) with the local tax office (BIR) for income tax, VAT, FBT, withholding taxes, registration and others; (b) SEC; including handling of any tax or any other regulatory audits or examinations.
• Manage and reconcile all intercompany transactions.
• Review weekly payments and upload in bank’s portal.
• Manage the company’s cash resources, maintain relationship with banks and provide necessary documents for opening / updating / closing of bank accounts.
• Consolidation and preparation of annual country budgets.
• Provide assistance during external audit.
