Job Overview

The Staff Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing production systems and equipment to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient wine production processes in line with company standards.

Responsibilities

  • Design, plan, and develop engineering systems to support wine production processes.
  • Oversee installation, maintenance, and improvement of production equipment and systems.
  • Ensure efficient production processes by identifying, analyzing, and resolving technical issues.
  • Conduct performance testing and evaluations of machinery, ensuring reliability and productivity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production workflows and quality control.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations in all production activities.
  • Prepare technical reports and provide recommendations for improvements to management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical preferred).
  • Previous experience in the food & beverage industry, especially in wine production, is an advantage.
  • Strong technical knowledge of wine-making processes is a plus.
  • Hands-on ability to operate and maintain production machinery.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, with excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations in manufacturing is highly valued.
